Why this works in class

  • All in the browser — code, preview, and iterate without installing engines or SDKs.
  • Device-agnostic by design — built on WebXR; not tied to vendor SDKs.
  • Device-light — students validate interactions in the browser; no headset per student needed.
  • Instant deploy — share a URL/QR; runs on any WebXR device.
  • Drop-in friendly — add a 2–4 week module or run a full semester.

What you’ll teach

By the end, students can build interactive 3D scenes, implement XR input & UI, optimize & publish, and present a portfolio-ready app.

  • • WebXR fundamentals & editor workflow
  • • Interaction patterns (gaze, controllers), spatial UI
  • • Models & animation, spatial audio
  • • Feature detection & fallbacks, performance
  • • Capstone showcase via public URLs/QRs
